The upkeep of alkalinity is vital for successful reef keeping, and maintaining stability is essential. If you want to create outstanding conditions for coral growth, conducting alkalinity tests is a necessity. The new GHL KH Director makes it easy to monitor, maintain, and control alkalinity.

Features:

• Lab-grade KH measurement accuracy: Measure your alkalinity with precision. Using just a 100 ml water sample, the GHL KH Director provides measurement values with an accuracy of 0.1 °dKH.
• User-adjustable test sample volume: If you do not require the highest accuracy, you can reduce the test sample volume. An accuracy of approximately 0.2 °dKH can still be achieved with a smaller water sample.
• Measurements per day adjustable: If the KH value remains stable, you can reduce the number of measurements taken.
• Higher accuracy and safety with additional valves: Test your alkalinity consistently. Built-in valves ensure the same measurement conditions and prevent sample liquid from returning to the aquarium, even in the rare case of a malfunction.
• Cost-effective and safe reagent fluid: Each test requires only 1 to 3 ml per measurement.
• Automated data logging: Review past test results, detect sudden KH changes, and fine-tune your KH dosing with the help of automated data logging.
• Automated liquid supply: Automatically supply KH-boosting liquids. Depending on the method, one or more additional dosing pumps may be required.
• Kalk reactor control: Alternatively, you can influence the KH value by controlling a kalk reactor.
• LED status display: The on-board GHL LED logo provides color-coded status indicators. These colors allow you to quickly check the condition of your system:
  • White = Configuration mode
  • Blue = Normal operation
  • Green = Sufficient amount of liquid in a fluid container
  • Yellow = Warning threshold – fluid container(s) are running low
  • Red = Alarm threshold – fluid container(s) are empty
• myGHL cloud access: Access the KH Director through the myGHL cloud service via GHL Doser 2, 2.1 or ProfiLux 3, 3.1, 4.
• Seamless integration: With the ProfiLux Aquatic Bus connection, the KH Director integrates smoothly into the modular GHL aquarium system. The PAB connection ensures interference-free communication with other GHL devices, such as GHL Doser 2.1 and ProfiLux 4.
• Low maintenance design: The unique design of the KH Director allows for easy access and maintenance of the included pH electrode. Calibration and replacement are straightforward.
• KH value display: View your KH reading anytime, anywhere via the ProfiLux display, ProfiLux Touch, or web browser (myGHL). An additional external display unit is optional.
