Magnesium Pronto 1000g
Two Little Fishies Magnesium Pronto 1000g is a fantastic blend of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate that your marine reef aquarium will appreciate. Here are some key benefits:
- Blend of pure anhydrous magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate
- Rapidly raises magnesium ion concentration in marine reef aquariums
- Economical way to help maintain magnesium levels for coral health
This concentrated powdered blend provides an effective solution for maintaining proper magnesium levels. Magnesium Pronto is designed to dissolve quickly, raising magnesium ion concentrations crucial for reef aquariums that house corals, clams, snails, tubeworms, and calcareous algae.
To use, dissolve Magnesium Pronto in purified fresh water to create a stock solution. For example, adding 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of this solution to 3,785 liters of water will increase the magnesium concentration by 12.5 ppm.
Directions:
- Create a stock solution by dissolving 10 grams (about 2 teaspoons) of Magnesium Pronto in 8 oz (250 ml) of purified water.
- Adding 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of stock solution to one gallon of water will increase the magnesium concentration by 12.5 ppm.
- For optimal results, add 5 ml per 10 US gallons daily to achieve a magnesium concentration of 1,300 ppm. After that, you can dose weekly as needed.
Contents: Anhydrous Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate.
Guaranteed Analysis: Magnesium 43.0% minimum.
Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Magnesium Pronto generates heat when mixed with water, so do not add it directly to the aquarium without first dissolving it in water. It is advisable to handle it with rubber gloves, avoid breathing in the dust, and prevent contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. If contact occurs, flush the skin with plenty of water. For eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention if needed. This product is not for human consumption and is intended for aquarium use only. It should not be used with fish raised for human consumption. Always keep the lid tightly closed to protect it from moisture.
General Information: Supplemental magnesium is often necessary for reef aquariums because corals, clams, snails, tubeworms, and calcareous algae extract it from the water. It is recommended to use a magnesium test kit to measure the magnesium concentration, which should be maintained between 1,280 and 1,350 ppm at a seawater density of 1.025.
