Microbe-Lift Reefscaper is a specially developed reef & coral cement
Reefscaper is an innovative reef and coral cement specifically designed for bonding reef, stone, and ceramic structures, as well as for securing corals and frags in any saltwater aquarium. This product is free from harmful substances, such as heavy metals like chromate, and it does not contain any unwanted silicates.
Reefscaper is user-friendly, sets very quickly, and provides an excellent environment for coralline algae and beneficial bacteria to flourish.
Tips:
- When using sand as an extender, ensure it is clean and dry. We suggest using coral sand for saltwater aquariums and river or silica sand for freshwater setups.
- Always wear disposable gloves when working with Reefscaper.
- If applying to glass, make sure the glass is degreased, dry, and clean.
Application: For best results, use approximately 3 parts Reefscaper to 1 part water. For example, this translates to 150 g of Reefscaper mixed with 50 g of water. The setting time is around 2 minutes.
Alternatively, you can mix about 2 parts Reefscaper, 1 part sand, and ¾ part water. For instance, this would be 100 g of Reefscaper, 50 g of sand, and 37.5 g of water.
Keep in mind that warm water speeds up the setting time, while cold water can slow it down. The mixing ratio may vary slightly, so if possible, mix within one minute and use it immediately. After about 24 hours, it will be completely hardened, both in the air and underwater.
