Aqua Medic Mini-Deniballs Are filter material and bacteria feed for the Nitratereductor

Mini-Deniballs are crafted from a unique biologically based plastic. One package of 0.5 litres (approximately 0.2 gallons) provides enough material to serve as the sole food source for a Nitratereductor for a full 12 months.

We recommend changing the Mini-Deniballs after about 12 months to ensure safe and hassle-free denitrification in both fresh and saltwater aquariums.
