Neptune Systems WAV Extreme flow for your aquarium
The Neptune Systems WAV is designed to move water efficiently, delivering over 4000 gallons per hour! What is even better is that for this impressive flow rate, the WAV is compact, energy-efficient, and operates quietly compared to many popular powerhead pumps available today.
A powerhead that answers all your needs:
- Extreme flow: Approximately 4000+ gph (15,120 lph)
- Compact size: Smaller total mass compared to nearly all similar flow pumps
- Directional flow: Pivots with a 40-degree range of motion and can be rotated – perfect for rear wall installations
- Safe operation: Runs on 24V DC power
- Low power consumption: Less than 35W at the wall
- Multiple operational modes: Includes random flow modes, mirror, inverse, and more
- Easy to clean: The pump automatically shuts off when removed from water
- Incredibly quiet: Likely the quietest driver on the market
- Magnetic mount: Works on glass up to 1 inch thick
- Simple installation: Requires just one slim wire for all power and control (1LINK interface makes it easy!)
Directional flow allows stealth mounting options
Unfortunately, many of the top water-moving pumps on the market only direct flow perpendicular to the glass. This limitation can restrict an aquarist’s options and even obstruct the view of the aquarium. While it is not new to have a powerhead capable of pointing in various directions, traditional designs often take up too much space and can be visually unappealing. The WAV addresses these issues with an innovative articulating mount.
Our research indicates that most customers do not require extreme angles for their pump; typically, a 20-degree adjustment is sufficient. Therefore, we designed the WAV to feature a low-profile magnetic mount that offers a 40-degree range of motion on the pivot, along with a full 360-degree rotation capability. This provides significantly more flexibility than flow that only comes from the side or back of the aquarium. Imagine mounting the WAV on the back glass or wall, angling it correctly, and directing the flow towards the side or front glass. You can position the flow exactly where you want it without obstructing the beautiful views of your aquarium!
Endless flow options for every aquarist
We understand that every aquarist has unique preferences when it comes to water flow. That is why the WAV is compatible with Apex Fusion, offering a wide range of patterned flow and random settings. You can easily configure one or more pumps to mirror or inverse each other. The user-friendly Apex Fusion scheduling graph allows you to create dynamic flows, such as generating large waves in the morning, stirring up debris in the afternoon, and slowing down the flow at night. The flow in your aquarium can be as distinctive as your favorite coral!
