Blue Life Nitrate FX 250ml Safe and Effective Way to Lower Nitrates in marine and freshwater aquariums

Instructions and Guidelines:

• Before using for the first time, rinse each bag of resin by running a steady stream of fresh water (preferably RO) through it, about 4 to 5 cups; discard the water once you are done.
• Each 250ml of Nitrate FX will remove 10ppm nitrate in 475 liters of water (or 5ppm per 945 liters), while 500ml will remove 20ppm nitrate in 475 liters of water (or 10ppm per 945 liters).
• The effectiveness of removal is directly related to how long the resin is in contact with the water; maximizing this contact time will help remove more nitrates and improve the overall quality of the aquarium water. For the best results, it is recommended that resins be used inside a reactor or a pressurized canister.
• Nitrate FX can be regenerated multiple times, making it a cost-effective solution for reducing nitrates in marine and freshwater aquariums.

Regeneration Instructions:

• Dissolve 1 Blue Life USA Regeneration Kit in 2 liters of room-temperature water for every 250ml of resin to be regenerated in a clean pail; place the resin into the pail and stir.
• Allow Nitrate FX to soak for at least 1 hour (for the best results, soak overnight) while frequently agitating the bags; then remove from the regeneration solution and rinse thoroughly in fresh water before reusing.
• Do not use bleach for regeneration, as this will permanently damage the adsorption resin and could harm aquarium inhabitants.

Caution: Resin is sold moist. Keep it closed to prevent drying out. The weight varies due to moisture content, and the product is sold by volume rather than weight. DO NOT LET RESIN DRY OUT!

Any of our Blue Life USA resins can be regenerated using Regen FX for reuse 6 or more times. One 250ml Regen FX regeneration kit can regenerate up to 4 bags of 250ml of any Blue Life FX resin.

250ml Nitrate FX treats 475 liters, and 500ml Nitrate FX treats 945 liters.
