Nyos NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+ provide a simple, safe, and effective way to increase nitrate and phosphate levels in your aquarium. The correct levels of these nutrients are crucial for maintaining a healthy reef environment. When nitrate and phosphate levels drop, corals may begin to suffer, leading to stunted growth, fading colors, and even tissue loss. Additionally, an imbalance between nitrate and phosphate can encourage unwanted algae growth and further stress corals.

Based on the experience of many coral enthusiasts, it is ideal for nitrate levels to be between 10-20 ppm and phosphate levels to be between 0.025-0.05 ppm. Nyos® NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+ allow you to accurately adjust these levels to meet your aquarium’s needs.

DOSAGE

• 1 ml NITRATE+ raises the nitrate level in a 100 l (25 gal) aquarium by 1 ppm
• 1 ml PHOSPHATE+ raises the phosphate level in a 100 l (25 gal) aquarium by 0.01 ppm

We recommend checking your nitrate and phosphate levels at least twice a week. The suggested nitrate value is 10-20 ppm, while the recommended phosphate value is 0.025 – 0.05 ppm. Using a dosing pump can help you maintain a balance of daily NO3 and PO4 consumption with Nyos NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+.
