Tropic Marin Original Balling Components Part B – 1 kg creates the best conditions for good growth of corals
Tropic Marin® Original Balling Components consist of three salt components utilized in the Balling method, allowing for independent dosing of calcium and carbonates tailored to each specific aquarium. The three-part method incorporates calcium chloride dihydrate (part A) and sodium carbonate/sodium bicarbonate (part B), while the addition of sodium chloride-free sea salt (part C) helps maintain the essential ionic balance in the aquarium water. This balanced calcium dosage provides optimal conditions for the healthy growth of corals and coralline algae, while preventing the decline of vital elements often observed in two-part methods.
Benefits:
- Highly efficient calcium supply using the Balling method
- Ion equilibrium is maintained
- All components are available separately in packs of 1 kg/35.3 oz or as a set (3 x 1 kg)
- The three powdered salt mixtures A, B, and C are dissolved separately in water
- The individual solutions can be added to the tank directly or with a dosing pump
- Contains all 70 trace elements found in natural seawater
- No unnatural by-products
- Free from phosphates and other pollutants
The Tropic Marin® Original Components include:
- Part A: Calcium chloride dihydrate (20,000 ppm Ca)
- Part B: Sodium carbonate/sodium bicarbonate (2,800 °dH/l)
- Part C: Sodium chloride-free sea salt (~ 3,350 ppm Mg; ~ 980 ppm K)
How to use:
Dissolve the specified quantities of the salts separately, as detailed below, in individual containers of reverse osmosis water. The resulting solutions will then be ready for use. You can dose equal amounts of the separate solutions daily or adjust the quantities of each solution to achieve the recommended levels in the aquarium. These individual solutions are highly stable and can be stored indefinitely. The use of highly purified pharmaceutical-grade salts ensures that the resulting solutions are clear and pure.
Dosage:
30 ml / 1 fl. oz of each solution will raise the calcium concentration of 35L / 10 US-gal. by 15 mg/l (ppm) calcium and 2.2 °dH. The maximum recommended dose is 60 ml / 2 fl. oz. of each solution per 35 L / 10 US-gal. per day.
