Seachem PhosGuard is a highly effective filtration product designed to efficiently remove phosphates and silicates from both seawater and freshwater aquariums. Its unique pearl-shaped design promotes optimal water flow and enhances its exceptional porosity, giving it an increased capacity for filtration.

This product can effectively remove between 20 to 60 mg/L of phosphates from 400 liters of water, while also achieving similar results with silicates. You can use PhosGuard continuously or at intervals, and you will not have to worry about it releasing any removed phosphates back into the water.

Each liter of PhosGuard is capable of treating up to 1200 liters of water. Thanks to its innovative spherical shape, PhosGuard prevents clogging and channel formation, which in turn increases flow speed and the overall efficiency of the media.
