The POLY-FILTER is designed for filtering and purifying both fresh and saltwater aquariums. It features a unique patented material that is bonded to a synthetic matrix. Through a special proprietary process, the POLY-FILTER becomes impervious to salt while being friendly to certain organic materials. It is capable of absorbing and adsorbing contaminants and other harmful substances present in nature or added to both fresh and saltwater, whether or not there are fish and invertebrates in the tank. When medications are added to treat sick fish, the POLY-FILTER automatically removes them after they have fulfilled their purpose, preventing any potential toxic effects on the fish.

The POLY-FILTER is non-toxic and does not harm biological filtration. It allows a sufficient amount of ammonia to reach the biological filter, which is essential for sustaining the bacteria culture. Additionally, the POLY-FILTER offers a supplementary method for ammonia removal when the biological filter cannot keep up with excess ammonia levels.
