With the addition of 395nm diodes, the G6 delves deeper into the UV range, allowing for a new level of fluorescence in both corals and fish. Anatomy of the G6 Spectrum

• 395nm: Unlocks extra fluorescence in fish and corals.
• 400-450nm: Rebalances the cluster with more blue, enhancing fluorescence and color rendering while creating a new spectrum between clear and actinic.
• 460-580nm: Reduces mid-range spectral output to maintain color expression in pigments, allowing for more wattage to be used for photosynthetically beneficial output.

This enhancement was achieved by modifying the primary optic on the LEDs, which integrates with the existing HEI (Hemispherically Edge Illuminating) secondary optic (lens).
