For corals to thrive, all of these elements must be available in balanced proportions. Red Sea’s SKELETAL ELEMENTS provides this in the form of a convenient powder supplement that includes all the elements of Foundation A, B, and C, as well as Red Sea’s Coral Colors A and B (which include potassium, boron, iodine, and bromine) in the precise ratio found in coral skeletons.

While there are minor variations among coral species, the overall ratio of these elements remains relatively consistent. By supplementing with these elements in a fixed ratio based on calcium uptake, you will ensure that your corals receive accurate replenishment tailored to their metabolic demands.

Recommended Dosing:
SKELETAL ELEMENTS should be dosed either daily or weekly, depending on your aquarium type and the measured calcium uptake. Over time, an imbalance between the foundation elements may occur. If you choose to dose daily, it is advisable to test all foundation elements weekly and adjust using the individual A, B, and C supplements as needed. For weekly dosing, testing should be conducted monthly.

1 gram will raise the calcium level of 100 liters (25 gallons) by 1.5 ppm.
