Red Sea Foundation KH / Alkalinity (Alk) B – 1kg Carbonate and buffer complex for balanced formation or coral skeleton
Calcium, magnesium, strontium, and carbonate are essential elements for building coral skeletons. For the health and growth of corals, it is important that these elements are available in balanced proportions.
The KH / Alkalinity of the Red Sea is a complex mixture of carbonate and other buffers found in seawater. This mixture helps maintain proper alkalinity and pH levels, and it is part of the Red Sea’s complete Reef Care program.

Concentration:
Liquid Supplement: 1 ml increases the alkalinity level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 0.036 meq/l (0.1 dKH).
Powder Supplement: 1 g increases the alkalinity level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 0.12 meq/l (0.33 dKH). One kilogram of powder can make a 10 liters stock solution.
