TRACE COLORS A is an Iodine, Bromine, and Fluorine supplement designed to enhance the pink hues in corals. The IODINE+ Supplement is a key part of our comprehensive range of major, minor, and trace element complexes, which together fulfill the needs of corals.

The IODINE+ Supplement contains iodine and other halogens that play a vital role in various biological processes, including the production of pink pigments in the soft tissue of corals. These halogens function as both antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, helping to reduce the risk of coral bleaching.

In active reef systems, these essential elements are rapidly depleted due to their high oxidative capabilities and their reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are particularly associated with the pink chromo-protein known as pocciloporin.
