The PO4 smart test kit is part of a series of drop tests created by Reef Factory LAB. This kit is designed for a quick measurement of phosphate concentration in marine aquariums right from the comfort of your home. You can perform approximately 60 tests within a range of 0.04 to 3 mg/L.

With Smart Reef, taking the drop test becomes a breeze. Thanks to its integration with the application and the Dosing Panel, interpreting the results is straightforward. The clear scale shows easy-to-understand recommendations to help you keep the phosphate levels in the optimal range. Moreover, the dosing panel keeps a history of your measurements and allows you to conveniently share this information with fellow hobbyists. All this convenience comes from just one app!

How to take measurements with the PO4 Smart test kit:

1. Use a syringe to take 10 ml of water from the aquarium and pour it into the vial.
2. Add 2 drops from the PO4 Reagent dropper to the vial. Carefully stir the vial in a circular motion.
3. Shake PO4 Reagent 2, then add 2 drops to the vial. Close the vial with the attached stopper and shake.
4. Wait 30 seconds for the reaction to occur. After this time, the reagent sample should turn blue.
5. Remove the stopper and place the vial on the starting field of the standard.
6. Looking from the top, compare the color intensity with the color on the template, read the result, and/or enter it in the user panel in Smart Reef.

What to do next:

Based on the test results, the Smart Reef system will provide supplementation recommendations to help maintain the best living conditions for your corals. You can input these recommendations yourself, or if you have our dosing pumps, you can send them directly to the pumps. This ensures that the precise amounts of supplements are dosed to provide the essential elements your aquatic life needs.
