Two Little Fishies SeaElements is designed to help maintain the natural levels of essential trace and minor elements in your aquarium. It effectively corrects deficiencies that may arise, and unlike many other supplements, it does not encourage the buildup of excess elements that can be harmful to your aquatic environment.

It is important to note that natural seawater differs from the artificial seawater commonly found in home aquariums in several ways. Some trace elements in artificial seawater can exceed natural levels significantly, while others may be missing or deficient. Additionally, certain elements found in artificial seawater can be quickly depleted in the aquarium.

Because some trace elements can accumulate in aquariums due to food inputs and other sources, an ideal supplement should only contain those elements that are actually depleted. The formula for SeaElements is based on thorough analysis of the changes in seawater chemistry that happen in aquariums, considering factors such as water exchange rates, feeding practices, and the types of plants and invertebrates present.

Research on the effects of weekly supplementation in aquariums with standard stocking levels and water exchange has led to a formula that effectively provides these essential elements without causing dramatic shifts in water chemistry or excess accumulation. Natural chelating agents are included to help keep the different elements in solution, and they do not accumulate in the aquarium since they are readily broken down by naturally occurring bacteria.

Dosage:

• Add 2 drops per gallon weekly to an area with strong water circulation. This dosage is suitable for fish-only or lightly stocked invertebrate aquariums.
• For reef aquariums with dense growth of soft and stony corals, add 3 to 4 drops per gallon weekly. Please do not exceed 4 drops per gallon. Remember to shake before using.

SeaElements provides bromide, iodide, iron, manganese, strontium, and other elements, along with organic extracts that support the uptake of trace elements. It is compatible for use with Two Little Fishies C-Balance, but please do not mix SeaElements with C-Balance or any other supplements in a dosing reservoir. SeaElements can also be used alongside Two Little Fishies Strontium Concentrate and/or Iodine Concentrate in coral culturing facilities or aquariums with very dense coral growth.

Dosing SeaElements once a week is sufficient for maintaining your aquarium’s health. The use of automated dosing pumps for daily administration is not necessary, but it is not harmful either. Just be sure to adhere to the recommended weekly dosing guidelines.
