* For some functions, you need seneye + (these are measurement plates that need to be replaced monthly for reliable measurements).

• Windows PC with a regular or wireless network and TCP/IP protocol; Vista 32/64 bit, Windows 7 32/64 bit.
• Full speed USB 1.0 port.
• Minimum 1GHz processor and 128MB RAM.
• Internet Browser: Internet Explorer 9.0+, Firefox 4.0+, Safari 4.0+.
• Download the seneye connect application from seneye.com.

Seneye Reef monitors:

	Temperature The temperature is continuously measured, so you will receive a warning if your heater or cooler fails.
	Free Ammonia The highly toxic free ammonia (NH3) is measured at very low levels, helping you prevent mortality from ammonia poisoning.
	pH The Seneye measures the pH in your aquarium or pond water between 6.4 and 9. This range is ideal for most aquatic life, and great precision has been achieved by focusing on this range.
	Water Level Measurements are only taken when the Seneye is submerged in water, ensuring no false measurements occur.
	LUX This measures the environment’s LUX levels, allowing you to see how your lamps deteriorate over time.
	Kelvin This provides insight into where your lighting falls on the Kelvin scale.
	PAR This measures photosynthetic active radiation (PAR), offering immediate insight into whether you have the right quality and quantity of lighting for your plants and corals.

Tips for MAC users

Currently, we do not have a Mac version of the Seneye Connect application, so you cannot connect your Seneye device to your Mac and upload data to seneye.me. This is the only aspect of Seneye that is not compatible with Mac.

If you own a Mac and wish to use a Seneye device, we suggest using a Seneye Web Server (SWS). This device uploads data to the Seneye servers from your device. The SWS has a built-in web page interface that allows you to view data locally and adjust settings on the Seneye device. This interface is fully compatible with Mac, as is the Seneye.me dashboard.
