This product is designed for the ATI Carbo Ex 4-liter REFILLABLE unit or any other air intake cylinder. It functions as an air filter connected to your protein skimmer, serving as a ready-made filter cartridge that can achieve up to 95% removal of CO2 and fine particles from the air supply, including dust and pollen.

The CO2-absorbing media changes color from white to blue when it is exhausted. For the larger aquarium systems, the CO2-absorbing media can be purchased separately in packs. Removing CO2 is essential as it helps to raise and maintain a stable pH value, which greatly benefits the overall health of your aquarium. This process enhances coral health and growth and acts as an effective preventive measure against air pollutants entering the aquarium.

You can naturally reduce algae by using the Carbo Ex or Skim Breeze connected to the air inlet of your aquarium protein skimmer. This system removes the CO2 that algae require for growth. Without CO2, algae cannot photosynthesize, making CO2 a limiting factor for various types of algae, including cyano and hair algae.

Capacity: 1000 ml Skim Breeze per 500-liter aquarium volume: approximately 4-6 weeks. If the granulate is completely purple, it must be replaced.
