Marine aquariums require optimal buffering for healthy coral growth, maintaining a stable carbonate hardness between 7 and 9 ° dH. Moreover, fluctuations in pH, such as those caused by excretions and decomposition processes, can quickly induce stress and disease in aquarium residents, ultimately shortening their lifespan. Tropic Marin Liquid Buffer is designed to effectively enhance alkalinity and stabilize pH within the ideal range of 8.1 to 8.4.

Application & Dosage

Regularly check the carbonate hardness and pH of your aquarium water. The carbonate hardness should be between 6 and 9 ° dH in a marine aquarium, while the pH should remain within 8.1 to 8.4.

If the values are significantly outside these ranges (pH less than 7.7 or greater than 8.6 / carbonate hardness less than 5 ° dH), add 30 ml of Tropic Marin Liquid Buffer for every 100 liters of aquarium water, which will increase carbonate hardness by approximately 0.8 ° dH. If necessary, repeat this application daily. Please do not exceed a carbonate hardness of 9 ° dH.

One liter of Tropic Marin Liquid Buffer provides the aquarium with 2800° of carbonate hardener.
