The Tropic Marin® Original Balling Liquid Set is a ready-to-use solution designed for reef aquariums based on the renowned Balling method. This set consists of three components: Solution A, Solution B, and Solution C. It can be applied manually or with a dosing pump for precision and convenience.

How it works:

• Solution A: Adds calcium chloride dihydrate to enhance calcium levels.
• Solution B: Provides sodium carbonate and bicarbonate to adjust alkalinity.
• Solution C: Contains sodium chloride-free sea salt to maintain ionic balance.

This three-part system creates an ideal environment for coral and coralline algae growth while preventing the loss of essential elements often observed with two-part dosing methods. It is perfectly balanced and easy to use—simply add equal amounts of each solution daily.

Ingredients:

• Part A: Calcium chloride dihydrate (20,000 ppm Ca)
• Part B: Sodium carbonate/sodium bicarbonate (2,800 °dH/l)
• Part C: Sodium chloride-free sea salt (~3,350 ppm Mg; ~980 ppm K)

Application & Dosage:

• Add equal amounts of all three solutions separately to the aquarium water daily (do not mix the solutions).
• Each addition of 1 fl.oz./30 ml of each solution increases calcium levels in 10 US-gal./35 l of water by approximately 15 ppm and alkalinity by 2.2 °dH.
• Maximum daily dose: 2 fl.oz./60 ml per 10 US-gal./35 l of aquarium system volume.
