Potassium is a vital nutrient for all living organisms. In natural seawater, the typical potassium concentration is about 408 ppm.

By using Tropic Marin® Potassium to adjust the potassium levels to this natural state, you may enhance the vitality and colors of many corals.

It is important to measure the potassium concentration accurately with a water test before applying the supplement.

Application & Dosage

Tropic Marin Potassium contains 100 mg/ml of potassium. By adding 10 ml of Tropic Marin Potassium to 100 liters (26 gallons) of water, you will increase the overall potassium concentration in the aquarium by 10 mg/l. Please ensure that you do not add more than 20 ml of potassium to 100 liters (26 gallons) of water on a daily basis.

Some types of corals may respond with slow growth and dull colors if the potassium levels in the aquarium water are too low.

In saltwater, potassium typically exists at a concentration of about 408 mg/l. It is crucial to avoid excessively high potassium concentrations, as they can be harmful to sensitive marine life. Therefore, do not significantly exceed the natural potassium levels.
