Coral growth requires more than just calcium and carbonate hardness; it also relies on a variety of essential trace elements. These elements are crucial for the metabolism and skeletal structure of invertebrates. In seawater, there are only tiny quantities of these trace elements, which are quickly consumed by coral growth and other biological processes.

Consequently, regular supplementation of these trace elements is essential.

How to use:

For complete trace element supply, we recommend using both trace element solutions:

• Add 1 ml of each trace element solution per 100 liters (or 25 US gallons) of aquarium water daily. Please ensure the trace element solution does not come into direct contact with the animals. As aquarium population density increases, the demand for trace elements also rises. In densely populated aquariums, you may increase the dosage up to the maximum dosage specified below.
• Maximum dosage: Do not exceed 2 ml per 100 liters (or 25 gallons) of aquarium water per day.
• If you are adding calcium with BIO-CALCIUM or BIO-CALCIUM ACTIF, the supplementation of trace elements should match the amount of added calcium: 5 ml of trace elements for every 5 ml of BIO-CALCIUM / BIO-CALCIUM ACTIF.
• The regular dosing of PRO-CORAL ELEMENTS can be automated using a dosing pump.
