Tropic Marin Triple Buffer For the adjustment of the pH-value

The triple effect of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer is designed to raise the pH value to the ideal range, enhance and stabilize alkalinity, and simultaneously provide essential trace elements for your saltwater aquarium.

Quick and Reliable Support: It helps when fish and decomposing materials have caused the pH to fall outside the recommended range of 8.1 – 8.4.
Counteracting Precipitation: It works to restore alkalinity when precipitation has lowered the levels needed.
Trace Element Supply: It provides essential trace elements when absorption by aquarium inhabitants and precipitation have reduced their levels.
Reduced Stress: It helps in decreasing stress for all aquarium residents by maintaining more stable water conditions.
Versatile Use: It is suitable for aquariums that are home to marine fish, soft corals, LPS, SPS, filter feeders, and/or crustaceans.

The ingredients include carbonates, hydrogen carbonates, and trace elements.

Application & Dosage

First, check the carbonate hardness and pH of your aquarium water.

Recommended water values:

Carbonate hardness: 6 – 9 °dH
pH value: 8.1 – 8.4

If your water values are below the recommended levels, add one level measuring spoon of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer weekly (or daily, if needed) for every 75 liters (or 20 US gallons) of aquarium water until the desired pH and alkalinity levels are reached. To apply, sprinkle the measuring spoonful directly on the surface of the aquarium water while stirring.

One level measuring spoon of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer increases the carbonate hardness by 1.4 °dH for every 75 liters (or 20 US gallons) of aquarium water. Please do not exceed a carbonate hardness of 9 °dH.

To prevent any potential precipitation, please avoid adding buffers and calcium supplements simultaneously.
