Introducing the Tunze Care Magnet Strong+, which comes with two plastic knives and one stainless steel knife. It is designed for glass thicknesses of 20-25mm. With a width of 86 mm and a length of 140 mm, this tool is both practical and effective.

Why should you care? This glass pane cleaner prevents scratches on your aquarium’s internal glass panels and can even be used on acrylic glass with the small plastic blade. The inner magnet is positioned more than 3 mm (0.2 inches) away from the aquarium, preventing any jamming of the aquarium sand. The two plastic blades are significantly more effective at removing algae from glass surfaces compared to a flat cleaning tool—almost as effective as a sharp metal blade. The lifespan of a blade can range from several months to about one year. The low flow resistance during cleaning, combined with a strong magnetic coupling, makes it nearly impossible to separate the magnet. The larger blade should only be used with the included stainless steel blade for particularly stubborn algae, such as older deposits on side walls or thick calcareous algae.
