Tunze LED full spectrum 8850.000 aquarium light for stony corals and soft corals
This aquarium light is perfect for stony coral tanks up to approximately 40 liters (11 US gallons), soft coral tanks up to around 60 liters (16 US gallons), and freshwater tanks that can hold up to about 80 liters (21 US gallons).
It features 76 1-watt LEDs utilizing Ultra Low Current Technology. The light spectrum can be adjusted from greater than 13,000 K all the way to a pure blue light, thanks to its cold white, blue (450 nm), green, and red LEDs.
You can manually adjust the settings using the included magnet holder, or alternatively, you can opt for the separately available Multicontroller 7097 or SmartController 7000.
Active power control: This feature adjusts the power based on the luminaire temperature to protect the LED as much as possible.
The design is ideal for underwater use, with improved cooling that enhances the output to a maximum of 26 W total output, which in turn increases brightness and photosynthetically active radiation.
Here are some factory settings for your reference:
- Color temperature: approximately 30,000 K
- Perceived brightness: 400 lm
- Photosynthetically Active Radiation Flux (PAR): 2.2 W
- Photosynthetic photon flux: 9.2 µmol / s
- Power consumption: 9.5 W
- Power supply: 100-240V/50-60Hz
The magnet holder is suitable for glass thicknesses up to 12 mm (1/2″). The dimensions without the holder are 305 x 25 x 13 mm (12″ x 1″ x 0.7″). The cable length is 2.5 m (98.4″).
It is important to note that this lamp is specifically designed for aquarium lighting and comes with built-in LED bulbs, which cannot be replaced.
Sunrise function: When power is applied (for example, via a time switch), the full spectrum LED will automatically simulate a sunrise that lasts 100 seconds. This sunrise will conclude with the color combination you set during the manual adjustment phase (see “Manual adjustment”). If you connect the Multicontroller 7097 or SmartController 7000, the sunrise feature will be disabled.
