XEPTA Reef Balance 25 is a 100% balanced system, composed by three components in charge of replacing the salts consumed by corals. Ca, Kh, Mg and essential trace elements for corals. For prepare of 25liter
XEPTA Reef Balance 25 is the result of extensive research on the condition of various trace elements in seawater corals. This innovative and pioneering solution is designed specifically for marine aquarium systems. Our studies have led to the creation of an all-in-one product, so you do not need to juggle multiple products as is often the case in other methods, which can be quite overwhelming for novice users.
This balanced system primarily consists of three components that play a crucial role in replacing the salts consumed by corals: Calcium (Ca), Alkalinity (KH), and Magnesium (Mg), along with trace elements essential for proper growth, development, and vibrant coloring.
The uniqueness of this system lies in its ability to maintain a balanced ionic environment in your aquarium. It replaces KH, Ca, and Mg in a proportionate manner while also providing all the necessary trace elements for optimal coral growth and coloration, ensuring that the balance of dissolved salts in your reef aquarium remains intact. Therefore, it is not just a matter of adjusting Ca, Mg, and KH levels as needed, but rather respecting the natural proportions of these elements found in marine environments.
Content:
- One bag of Ca Part
- One bag of Trace Part
- Three bags of KH Part
To prepare the solutions, please follow these steps:
– Ca Part:
Dissolve the contents of the Ca Part bag in 4 liters of reverse osmosis (RO) water. Once fully dissolved, add RO water to make a total of 5 liters. Ten milliliters of this solution will increase the calcium level by up to 6 ppm per 100 liters of aquarium water. It is very important to mix all the contents of the bag at the same time; you cannot prepare the solution in multiple batches.
– KH Part:
It is not necessary to prepare all 15 liters at once, which is why this additive is divided into three parts. Dissolve the contents of the KH Part bag in 4.5 liters of RO water; once dissolved, add RO water to reach a total of 5 liters. It is recommended to preheat the water to 40-50 °C for quicker dissolution. Thirty-five milliliters of this solution will increase the KH level by 1 dKH per 100 liters of aquarium water. Again, mix all contents of the bag at once.
– Trace Part:
Dissolve the contents of the Trace Part bag in 4 liters of RO water, and then complete with RO water to make a total of 5 liters. Use the same amount as in the Ca Part solution. Mixing all the contents simultaneously is crucial.
Since Xepta Reef Balance is a balanced system, it is essential to maintain the correct proportions when mixing this product: 1 part of the Ca Part solution, 3 parts of the KH solution, and 1 part of the Trace Part solution.
XEPTA Reef Balance KH Part
This component replenishes carbonates, increasing or maintaining a constant dKH value in the aquarium. To prepare, pour the contents into a container with 2 liters of preheated osmosis water (approximately 40-50 °C) while stirring, and then add more preheated osmosis water until reaching a total volume of 6 liters.
Content: Salts of carbonate.
Thirty-five milliliters of this solution will increase the KH level by 1 dKH in a volume of 100 liters of aquarium water.
XEPTA Reef Balance Ca Part
This part increases and maintains the correct calcium level in your reef aquarium. Please dissolve it with care, as it reacts exothermically when in contact with water. It is advisable not to use plastic containers for dilution. Gradually dilute the contents in a clean container, stirring until completely dissolved. After cooling, transfer the solution to its final container and add water to reach a total volume of 2 liters.
Content: Salts of calcium and other salts.
Ten milliliters of this solution will increase the calcium level by 6 ppm in a volume of 100 liters of aquarium water.
XEPTA Reef Balance Trace Part
This part maintains the correct magnesium levels and adds trace salts to your reef aquarium, balancing the proportions of dissolved salts. Please do not use this product to raise magnesium levels; for that purpose, you may want to use our magnesium additive. Dilute the contents in a container with osmosis water, stirring until the total volume reaches 1 liter. A brown or ocher coloring in the solution before and after dissolving is completely normal.
Content: Magnesium salts and other salts.
